Submitted a news article about [peripheral/interface] here on DA, and could really use the help in faving it so it'll get a little more exposure... pretty please? ~~> [link] <~~

Also, got a bunch of stuff up from the [peripheral/interface] opening on Friday. So here's the link deluge...

Well thank you for the vote of confidence. I hope more people will enjoy my work on DA, but so far I'm not sure that DA really matters. I don't see it getting me work or helping with sales, but you never know.

And yeah, I really don't get why some users (like RainCookie) have such an ungodly number of page views and so little in their galleries. How the heck that does that work!?

Yes, dA isn't much for actual selling, but for lucky folks, it gets their name out.

I think a lot of folks on dA start their popularity elsewhere, and when they come here and make an account, they already have a stronghold of fans. Sometimes, people clean out their galleries every now and then. I don't know, maybe they're crazy good too.

That's right, you gotta get lucky here as almost anywhere :P. Although, there are proven strategies on DA to get more pageviews. But unfortunately, pageviews in themselves don't really amount to much... Not to mention that some of the strategies aren't very "nice."

Yup. I think journal features and whatnot are fair enough, but I see people who will put their half-hearted comments all over the place just to get seen. It's horrible.

Not to mention those who are purposefully mean and try to stir up drama and fights in order to get noticed... :P
